Hulk #33 -Variant Edition

Aceite fazer a capa bem no meio do furacão que é a entrega de uma edição por dois motivos.

Primeiro o formato horizontal. Gosto do formato "tela de cinema" e das possibilidades de composição 

Segundo por ser uma personagem que gosto desde garoto.

O resultado no fim não foi o que eu esperava, ficou meio "desfile de moda" que queria evitar.

I agreed the cover in the middle of the hurricane that is the delivery of an issue for two reasons.
The first reason was the horizontal format. I like the widescreen format and the possibilities of composition.
The second reason was the character.
The end result was not what I expected, was somewhat "fashion show" that I wanted to avoid.

Wolverine: Father - Marvel Comics

There is a long time I dont post anything here. Althought, here are some pages of Wolverine: Father, Marvel Comics, One-shot written by Rob Williams, that I did the pencil and inks in last month.

I'm happy with the way it came out. I hope you like them.

Faz um longo tempo que não posto nada. Entretanto, eis algumas páginas do Wolverine: Father, Marvel Comics, história fechada escrita por Rob Williams, que eu desenhei e arte-finalizei no último mês.

Relendo Vagabond, Mangá que já perdi a conta de quantas vezes reli. Reencontrei este texto do autor.
Ele reflete muito bem minha maneira de ver.

"Uma obra é feita com a ajuda de vários outros elementos.
Um bom filme incentiva a criatividade.
Sem uma boa música, é impossível se concentrar horas e horas na frente do papel.
Conhecer o trabalho de outros colegas de profissão, feito com carinho, torna-se grande incentivo.
Depois que lançamos o trabalho feito dessa forma, chegaram às vozes dos leitores que sentiram um algo a mais.
Essas vozes me dão coragem para continuar a criar obras cada vez melhores."

I was rereading Vagabond, a Japanese comic that I have lost track of how many times I read it, I found this text by Takehiko Inoue, the author.
It expresses my point of view perfectly well.

My translation of what he wrote is something like this;
“ A piece of work is done with the help of many other elements.
A good movie stimulates creativity.
Without good music, it is impossible to focus for hours and hours in front of a sheet of paper.
Knowing the work of other professionals, made with care, becomes a great incentive.
After publishing the work done this way, the readers’ voices who felt that difference will come to me.
These voices will give me courage to continue creating even better pieces of work.”

Durante um tempo, morei em uma casa a beira do rio Paraíba do Sul.
Estes dias quentes me deram saudades dos mergulhos no rio.
As ruínas de um antigo porto de areia era um trampolim perfeito naqueles dias.
Matei a saudade desenhando.


I lived in a house by Paraíba do Sul river for some time.
These hot days made me think of my diving in the river.
The ruins of an old sand port were a very good trampoline on those days.
My drawing took me back there and it made me feel better.
